so far they have delivered on every huge update they had . I agree that there needs to be better communication but I also trust that they will 100% deliver on the foraging update. Also we weren't expecting them to drop a mining update out of nowhere. Again an issue of communication but they did deliver with the update for sure. Clearly there are things they're working on behind scenes, They also mentioned a new fishing island alongside the foraging update so until we get those there is no need to worry :)

The chocolate factory thing about divine rabbits being rare and that its stupid is just wrong, leg chocolate realm talisman gives a 5% chance to get a new rabbit

I'm just mad how they keep dropping unfinished updates. Glacite Tunnels V1, Mountaintop, Kuudra. It's getting to become a trend and I don't like it.

Coming from someones who lvl 400+ - Imo glacite tunnels was a pretty shit update, it didn't change anything about gemstone/mithril mining other than like 2 accessories 1 of which is insanely expensive (divan's pendent) the hotm perks from 8-10 don't help with mithril/gemstone mining - Progression for early/mid game is unbelievably bad, whenever i see people give new players tips on how to progress or what they should do to progress its almost always, "get hotm 7 powder grind for x hrs mine for x hrs then buy everything you'll need, or farm for x hrs" actually surprised that sb is getting new players when this is the "best" way to progress - Foraging update lmao was expected in late 2021 now its mid 2024, that just speaks for itself - Divan's alloy is absolutely terrible for ironman like stated in the video, and iirc a few months ago they said they planned to make a RNG meter for nucleus runs but we haven't seen anything about it yet or heard anything more, i dont code but how difficult is it to make a RNG meter when they already have experience with making multiple? and for something that affects a pretty decent amount of the community (ironmans) This is just off the top of my head i might edit and add more when i think of other stuff

The chocolate factory imo is stupidly bad. I think an easy fix to the event is to one make it so the event maxes out around d 6-8 hours. Add separates eggs into the tunnel(there is none and this sucks as /dwarves every 20 minutes get annoying. and also 2-3x the drop chance of rare rabbit or maybe making it so multiple rabbits come out from the egg and there some perk to do thiss at prestige 5(max) or smth.

I was talking with a guy who used to play sb and now has switched to wizard101 or whatever. I was shocked when he said you can easily reach out to an admin to talk, and devs are deep within the community and active players. I just wish there was a way to make the community as a whole more connected. (kinda like how the concept of sb nerds was thought of)

the hypixel team not having a community presence is a killer for the faith in the game and its developers.

I dont even know who any of the Admins are.. Other than I guess TimeDeo... Minikloon is gone right? I cant remember the last time Ive ever seen an Admin in game just interacting with the community for a brief time.. Other MMO's you really see staff and devs interact with the community a lot more..

i just feel like the game is too much of grind with even more content coming and even more effort to explore it all. i dont mind some grinding but not so much that i have to devote my life to the game to keep up or just get some items to have fun. i understand that the developers want to extent the time it takes to play through the whole new update so they have time to release something new but at some point its just too much. maybe its just my personal opinion but i would really love so see updates that dont need 12h a day of gaming for a month long to play the update. maybe its just me getting old and having too much else in my life to worry for. maybe just a sandbox gamemode would be something cool for the player base that doesnt have the time or wants to test new strats. anyways until then im probably just as im doing now just going to log in once in a while to check things out

I think the biggest issue with the game is new player availability. None of my friends will play because of how daunting it is to step into this game, let alone play it. Thats whats gonna kill skyblock someday if things dont change.

The game has a BS meter built in, ironman, if something is an absolute nightmare to get on ironman, like the divans alloy or dragon pet, it's almost always a poorly designed system. For me I keep finding I have no desire to play the game as well, I'm level 410, a big source of xp I could get is from blaze slayer or bestiary, but bestiary is boring, and blaze slayer would need a massive investment and therefore time grinding coins to do efficiently, I was originally going to do this through kuudra, but to get into any decent parties I had to spend billions on an ever changing setup. Basically the ever increasing price tags for things that feel necessary when they don't really matter, coupled with peoples toxicity in dungeons and kuudra just become very demotivating unless you really enjoy a money making method.

i strongly believe bad news is better than no news, i really hope they can figure out consistent communication

I think the thing about communication is that the skyblock team isn't an actual MMORPG team where they are used to the monthly letters letting people know what's happening. Maybe they haven't been around a lot of MMORPG or they just don't want to spend the time writing a monthly letter.

I've been waiting for a few days, maybe a week, for the discord notification to when the better mayors update comes out, it would definitely be nice for the admins to help communicate to their community more, whether that's like the consistent blog posts, or even just a quick check on how everyone's feeling.

They need to completely adjust early game and mid game because that progression is completely boring compared to the late game / end game which is constantly updated at this point.
